Professional bio — Emilia Bran Hernandez, FACPS, MSc (GCU), GradCert (Therapeutics), BAppSc (Pod)
Emilia Bran Hernandez is a surgical podiatrist and a Fellow of the Australasian College of Podiatric Surgeons. Backed by two decades of clinical practice across public and private healthcare sectors in Australia, Emilia is the principal Podiatrist and owner of Precision Plus Podiatry in Mount Gravatt East. Emilia has also spent time as a clinical supervisor at Queensland University of Technology (QUT) where she supports the development of future podiatrists through hands-on clinical education and multidisciplinary collaboration. She also serves as a supervisor for podiatrists undertaking advanced training toward endorsement for scheduled medicines.
Emilia holds a Master of Science in the Theory of Podiatric Surgery from Glasgow Caledonian University (Scotland), graduating with distinctions and a Post Graduate Certificate in Podiatric Therapeutics from QUT. Emilia has specialist recognition with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). Her career includes extensive experience in hospital and community health settings, notably at Redland Hospital, where she managed acute and chronic foot and ankle conditions within multidisciplinary teams. Emilia is recognised for her commitment to clinical excellence, patient safety, and continuous quality improvement, alongside her passion for mentoring and professional development.
Emilia’s clinical philosophy focuses on restoring mobility, function, and quality of life through compassionate, patient-centred, and evidence-based podiatric care. Outside of clinical practice, Emilia is a keen social soccer player who values teamwork, resilience, and balance—qualities that also shape her professional approach to patient care and collaboration. She also enjoys travel and creative pursuits, reflecting her curiosity and attention to detail both inside and outside the clinic.
